xarray.IndexVariable.broadcast_equals

IndexVariable.broadcast_equals(other, equiv=<function array_equiv>)

Return True if two Variables have the same values after broadcasting.

The Variables are broadcast against each other before being compared. If their values differ, return False.

Variables can still be equal (like pandas objects) if they have NaN values in the same locations.
