# xarray.IndexVariable.no_conflicts

#### IndexVariable.no_conflicts(other, equiv=<function array_notnull_equiv>)[[source]](https://github.com/pydata/xarray/blob/main/xarray/core/variable.py#L2164-L2172)

Return True if the intersection of two Variable’s non-null data is equal.

Otherwise return False.

Variables can thus still be equal if there are locations where either,
or both, contain NaN values.
